Product Description

A worksheet that could be completed as individual work, small group student work or teacher lead instruction focusing on basic principles of thermochemistry such as interpreting graphics and data about bond length vs bond energy of different substances and the energy stored in the chemical bonds. Questions also require students to interpret chemical equations involving heat (endothermic vs. exothermic) as well as enthalpy curve diagrams as well as solve several calorimeter type problems using the heat capacity of different substances. Answer keys is included. I would also encourage you to download my reference paper "Thermodynamic Properties" that list the specific heat capacities of commons substances as well the Enthalpy of Formation, Entropy Values and Gibbs Free Energy values for a variety of substances.
