Application Problems are a great way to begin each of your Module lessons. Application Problems generally review previously taught concepts, build upon prior lesson concepts, or challenge students to explore what they may already know about a concept being introduced throughout that particular lesson. This file includes Application Problems for Lessons 1-38 from EngageNY's Grade 4 Math Module 3. The Application Problems were created to be both teacher and student-friendly!
I've found that the best way to utilize this product is to project the Application Problem at the beginning of each lesson onto the board. Students complete their work on a separate sheet of paper, in their math notebook, on an index card, or in their Module 3 Journal. (Module 3 Journals are also available by topic in my TPT store!) However, this file can also be printed and copied for individual student use.
A very special thank you to Images by Teacher Inspired © (www.teacherinspired.blogspot.com), Ink n Little Things, and Dots of Fun for their bright and colorful digital files that were used to create this product.
