Who is this product for (what grade levels)?
I created this product for my third graders. But it could also be used/adapted for second graders and fourth graders. I have included 4 different math question booklets. There is a booklet with just addition and subtraction problems, second graders could complete this booklet. There is a booklet for multiplication and division, all operations, and a challenging booklet where students must understand all operations and fractions. These three booklets would be good for third graders and fourth graders.
What is included in this product?
•1 restaurant menu
•4 different math question booklets to choose from: 1 with all operations, 1 with just addition and subtraction, 1 with just multiplication and division, and 1 that I deemed as “challenging” students have to do all operations and calculate 20% tip (it is guided)
•Blank menu for students to input their own items and and create questions to go with it
•Editable question booklet for you to create your own questions for your students
What standards/concepts are covered with this product?
There are standards that are addressed for 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. All standards fall within the domain "Operations & Algebraic Thinking".
Where to start with this product?
You can choose to really set the stage and set your classroom up as a restaurant or to just utilize the activity on its own. There are ideas of things that you could do to help your students feel like they are in a restaurant included.
