INTEGRATE STEM IN YOUR CLASSROOM THIS SPRING!
Students will soar at the chance to complete this SPRING STEM activities! In this challenge students will be engaged in creating a bird nest.
Students will develop critical thinking and engineering skills as they work through the challenge. They will use the engineer design process the brainstorm, plan, create, test and improve! Opportunities for reflection are incorporated into the activity.
Materials: (twigs, grass, straw, string, moss, hay, flower leaves, vines, mud, water, dead leaves, bark, spider webs, hair- anything found in nature; paper plate or cardboard for base of nest.)
