Throughout this short engineering design unit students are tasked with dissecting the nitty gritty details of backpacks. Students consider different people who use backpacks and what functions they have. They will use this information to design their own backpack then later, design one as a team that will be presented.

Day 1- Brainstorm elements of backpacks

Day 2- Design your own backpack

Day 3- Team Challenge- Students are given a client and must work as a team to design a backpack that would intrigue their buyer

Day 4- Present
