In this playful activity conditionals (if-clauses type I/II/III) are practised.
Students need paper and pen to note down their individuell points and the right solutions.
In each round a sentence is shown. The students have to decide now whether the sentence is correct or not. Afterwards they bet a number of points on the sentence.
Student A bets 3 points that a sentence is correct. Student B bets 3 points that it is incorrect. He also notes down his correction. When the sentence is shown and is correct, student A receives 3 points. Student B was wrong he loses his 3 points. If the sentence is incorrect, it would have been the other way around – as long as the correction of student B is correct.
