spider, candy, black cat, bat, pumpkin, ghost, owl, moon, haunted house, monster, skeleton, tree
• a dominoes game
• a small group draw-your-own Bingo game
• a picture clue crossword
• some useful word wall cards
Please note that you will need to provide a class set of coloured counters in two colours to cover spaces on the game boards. You could probably use small unifix cubes.
How do you play dominoes?
Match the picture on the end of one card to the word it represents on the end of another card. This game links visual cues to vocabulary words which helps with comprehension and memorization.
These 6 pages of dominoes cards make one set of cards to use with one group of 3-4 students. Copy multiple sets onto card stock for the number of groups in your class. Cut apart on the wider lines.
No color printer?
No problem. You can easily print out the colored pages in "greyscale" aka black and white and photocopy from there. You can also just photocopy the pages in black and white from the color masters. Just start with a high quality master print for best results.
