Included in this interactive notebook you will find many pages to help your students learn about nouns.
page 4 - definition of what a noun is and a place to give personal examples
page 5 - definition of a common and proper noun
page 7 - identifying the subject noun in a sentence, and then identifying if it is common or proper
pages 9 - 10 - pockets and words to sort between plural and singular nouns
pages 12 - 13 - students will make the singular nouns plural by adding the correct ending
page 15 - singular possessive noun definition, ending and example
page 16 - plural possessive noun definition, ending and example
pages 17 - 19 - plural and singular possessive noun pockets and sentences to sort
Each activity gives the opportunity to have students spiral their learning and add more to the activities. On each sort or flap you can have students identify the subject noun, identify if the noun is singular or plural and then tell if it is common or proper. This allows students ample opportunity to practice each skill and shows that they have complete mastery before the test.
