This is used when I teach any of Shakespeare's comedies.
It helps them understand the different comedic elements that he used (VERY different from what most students consider "comedy")
It also helps them to understand that comedy doesn't mean they'll LOL - it's a different type of humour :)
The second page is a BONUS page - it looks at the stock characters used in all of Shakespeare's plays. A lot of his comedy comes from this!
They can really relate to this because they're asked to look at these same character types in shows/movies they watch today.
They make some awesome connections!
