About the worksheet
English for careers and English for sales walk hand in hand nowadays. This worksheet can be used as an introduction to cold calling. It’s ideal for learners of English who are looking for a career in sales or for those who wish to improve their technical vocabulary skills.
I’m not a salesperson nor do I teach sales techniques; however, my students often ask me for videos that they can watch online at home to improve their English skills in their own time. Many attend trade fairs as sales reps and feel how difficult it is to sell, especially if they are still struggling with the English language.
In this lesson, I show them a great coach who is an experienced American sales strategist. They watch the video on YouTube during the lesson and some even subscribe to his channel. In the video, the coach explains how to build a cold calling script.
