30 flashcards included
I used this game in the class to teach the children about action verbs. Often, by doing, students remember more.
I cut these flashcards out, laminated them, and placed them in a small box. I sat in front of the class and chose the first student to come up and choose a verb out of the box. He/she would then act out this verb and choose a classmate to guess what he/she was doing. The classmate that gets the correct, comes up and has a turn.
The fun thing about this is that most of the time, all students want to participate. Even the shy students who usually are quiet!
I also have used this game while subbing as a time filler. Works very well if you have 10-15 minutes left to spare.
Check out my French version as well. Great for French 2nd language too.
