This document aligns all of the English/Language Arts Specific Expectations by the Achievement Chart Categories (Knowledge, Thinking, Communication, Application). When I design rubrics, I use this guide to determine which Specific Expectations the assignment is addressing. I then include the Ministry language in my rubric that my students and I then deconstruct via co-constructing Success Criteria. As the Language Arts/English Specific Expectations are very similar from grades 1-12, this document is very useful for all your Language Arts assessment planning needs.
