Enlightenment: Students Learn Contributions of Locke, Hobbes, Rousseau, & More!
In this highly-engaging lesson on the Enlightenment, students analyze five stations on different men of the movement to understand their contributions both then and now! This activity is designed to be used as stations (either text or QR code based) to teach students how John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, Jean Rousseau, Baron de Montesquieu, and Voltaire influenced the Age of Enlightenment. Each station is unique in that it also details how each philosopher's views have impacted the United States!
Students complete an engaging worksheet as they navigate through the different Enlightenment philosophers. As they travel, students analyze key quotes, understand how these thinkers impacted the movement, and finally detail how they have impacted life today. Stations can be used as text based, or you can easily integrate the included QR codes to turn this into a QR code based activity (document are already hosted online)!
A full key is included!
