Anyone else annoyed when the kids come to speech and are waiting outside your door and seem to be doing everything possible to make as much noise as possible?
Or how about when the kids run out of your room after speech, without saying goodbye and leaving their kleenex on the table and their chair in the middle of the room?
Maybe it's just me, but it made me crazy! I made these simple visuals and put one on the inside of my door, and one on the outside, as reminders of expected behaviors. Now, rarely do I have to remind the children to do any of the above. Success! Plus - now children often push in each others chairs when someone forgets - bonus points for "thinking of others"!!
