In this project, student choose one environmental issue (climate change, deforestation, endangered animals, etc.) to study in-depth. There are detailed instructions directing the students to:
1. Provide a summary of their issue (how did it start, who is involved, etc.)
2. Compare and contrast two different "experts" opinion on their issue.
3. Use evidence to make a prediction about what their issue will look like in the future.
-This project typically takes about one week to complete.
-Grading rubric is provided.
Prediction- Make a prediction about the future of your issue.
What will your issue look like in the future? Where is your issue going? Will it be solved? Are there solutions that make sense? What directions can your issue take? What predictions do you have for it? Will solving your environmental issue create more problems? Choose at least three of these questions and answer them in the boxes below using evidence gathered throughout your research. YOU MUST USE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT YOUR ANSWERS AND USE DETAIL THAT SHOWS DEEP THOUGHT AND UNDERSTANDING. YOU MUST ALSO DEMONSTRATE YOUR BEST WRITING USING QUALITY PARAGRAPH DEVELOPMENT.
