Three words: aluminum foil armor! This is a fun lesson that gets kids involved in exploring what the Bible says about the armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-20.
Students work in groups to read and discuss what spiritual armor is used for, and then use craft materials (aluminum foil, poster board, and tape, mostly) to make life-size models of a piece of armor. This lesson includes six short half-sheet activity pages, one for each piece of spiritual armor. (They are short, with only two questions, because the main aspect of the lesson is the fun of creating the armor.)
Scripture quotes are purposely small, in order to allow you the flexibility to use any Bible translation you prefer, and also so students will need to use their Bibles to do the activity.
I've used this activity a few times, and it's always fun and engaging. Enjoy!
