Student Example
The Plague
by Roman Bennett (11 years old, Year 6)

"It’s contagious, I repeat it is contagious. Report the plague to biosafety level four NOW!!!" screamed Ryan.
"Ok boosting up to level four. We advise that you get out of there now," replied Bravo.
"I can't - there is no response to my S.O.S and no evacuation guideline the chance of me getting out of this is extremely low.” But Ryan navigated his way out of the base, heading home to his son.
"Dad what's going on why are we running away from home?" cried Max.
"Max we don't have enough time to talk about this now.”
"Max the reason why we are running away from our home is because there is a disease that is highly lethal and infectious. Ok? You won't survive if you have the virus. See that's the truth," said Ryan breathing wearily.
"Ryan, this is Bravo, I have located a bunker hidden underground close to you only 250 metres away flee there now."
Both Ryan and Max gasping for air they reach the abandoned house run to the basement and ran through the hidden underground door closing and locking all the doors behind them. After being confined for five more minutes thousands of particles of dust came rushing through under the door.
"Dad I don't want to die like this I don't want to be starved or dehydrated in this confined claustrophobic room."
"It's okay Max, we won't. We will just wait out for today. Tomorrow we will see..."
