This philosophy lesson on epistemology focuses on the philosophers Immanuel Kant, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, and Jean-Paul Sartre. The topic of identity is explored through this lesson. This lesson was developed for an IB Philosophy class but it works well with any high school philosophy class that is covering epistemology. The PowerPoint contains extensive notes for the teacher on each slide.

Included in this lesson:

  • PowerPoint with Lecture Notes
  • "The Living Room" Podcast Activity
  • Identity Activity/Project

The podcast should be evaluated prior to purchasing this product so a judgement call can be made on whether or not it will work for your particular classroom/school.

"The Living Room" is a very emotional and intimate story, and it makes for a great stimulus for discussing Hegel's ideas. A link to "The Living Room" Podcast can be found here.

You can open any PowerPoint file in Google Slides. Read this quick how-to if you need to convert any PowerPoint to Slides.
