This product has students choose and solve two number sentences, and then compare the sum or difference. If the sums/differences are equal, they record the number sentences in the "equal" column. If the sums/differences are not equal, they record the number sentences in the "not equal" column. There are addition and subtraction equations through 20, as well as some three digit addition equations through 20.
This product not only practices addition and subtraction fluency, but it also gives students a chance to really build the meaning of the equal sign.
