Equal or Not? Interactive Game 1.OA.D.7
This game was designed to review the meaning of the equal sign with subtraction problems. It is tough getting students to be o.k. with the “answer” on the wrong side of an equation, much less having it be balanced. This game allows review with subtraction sentences on either side of the equal sign AND subtraction sentences on both sides of the equal sign.
I have included an exit ticket/product sheet to check understanding afterwards.
The kiddos loved playing on the board. I also let mine play in small groups at the computers.
