In this activity, students solve 15 equations and color the ornaments according to the solutions (like a color-by-number). Each student needs one “Equation Ornaments” coloring sheet and one “Problem Set” sheet.
**This resource is also available in a DISCOUNTED bundle: Expressions & Equations Bundle
This activity includes a choice of three different sets of equations. Set A is the easiest and contains a variable only on one side of the equation. Set B has a medium difficulty level with variables on both sides of the equation. Set C is the most challenging.
Choose the set that is best for the ability level of your class or use a combination of the three for differentiation.
Take a look at the preview file for more detail.
These look great cut out as a classroom decoration when finished. Try them with the Trapezoid and Triangle Trees
