:When faced with equations that have variables on both sides of the equation (and often need to be simplified before solved) even solid math students sometimes falter and don’t know “where to start.” This activity has students work individually or together (your choice!) to put in order (like a puzzle) the steps to solving equations with variables on both sides of the equation.
Could also be used as an assessment!
