Product Description
This self checking worksheet has the student write a linear equation in general form (Ax + By + C = 0). There are many conditions for the student to consider: slope and intercept, x and y intercept, two points, a line parallel with a point, and finally a line perpendicular with a point. Once the student solves a problem, one piece of the flower on the next page will show that solution. The student will then use the colors red, orange, yellow, green, brown, pink, purple or black to color the piece of the flower with the matching equation. (Obviously, the student will need these colors to complete the worksheet.) This was a great review for my calculus students before they started derivatives and writing equations of tangent lines.
