The “I Have” side of each card contains the equation of a different parabola.
The “Who Has?” side of the card contains information about either the vertex and focus, directrix and focus, or vertex and directrix of a different parabola. Each student gets a card. Before playing, the students should take some time to locate the focus, vertex, and directrix of the parabola described by the equation they have, and the equation that goes with the description on their Who Has? side.
To play, the first student reads the Who Has of his or her card and the student holding the card with the correct equation reads the I Have. Then that student continues by reading the Who Has
so that the process continues.
There are 21 cards in the file. If they are all included, the first player will have the equation that matches the description read by the last player.
