Product Description
Spanish Teachers want to teach about all the countries where Spanish is the official language but typically there isn't much taught about Equatorial Guinea until now. Since it is the only country in Africa with Spanish as one of its official languages, it can be a nice tie-in to African-American History Month.

This is the first in a series of 20 videos featuring the national anthem sung by my Venezuelan friend - and professional singer - in Spanish for each country. The video is only two minutes long - perfect for playing as a pre-class or bell-ringer activity. Play the video each day for a week as you check homework and take attendance. Students will::

Day One: read lyrics in both English and Spanish
Day Two: do the word search which uses pictures from the video.
Day Three: color the coloring booklet.
Day Four: complete coloring the booklet.
Day Five: Play bingo using 50 pre-printed bingo sheets and call sheet. Use the
provided Powerpoint with the words and pictures for re-enforcement
about cultural tidbits about Equatorial Guinea.

See preview video for more information that includes pictures of these handouts.

Don't be surprised if by the fourth day students are humming and singing snatches of the song.

Note: In the video it says it is 90 seconds but that is a mistake it is 120 seconds or two minutes. Yep, that old multi-tasking isn't really working, sigh!
