There are many programs that address critical thinking skills and the development of higher order questions. But very few (if any) that address managing the classroom environment. Well-constructed, probing questions are not any good if the students are disruptive or un-engaged. My “Equity Questioning” program helps you to create a classroom for the benefit of all your students. It eliminates disruptions and shows you how to draw the quiet reserved student into the learning environment in a supportive manner. Even when a student offers an incorrect answer he/she can be guided to the correct answer with positive support. I have successfully used this method for over twenty years in my classroom and instituted the program as a Vice-Principal in several schools I was assigned.
