What Should I Wear? is an equivalent fraction matching activity that is great for use in centers, small groups, or whole class instruction.
On each piece of clothing is a fraction. Students pick one piece of clothing and find all the other fractions equivalent to it. Together the pieces will make an outfit. Students will make a total of 11 outfits using 31 pieces of clothing. Students can check their work using the answer key if desired. A recording page and assessment opportunity are also included. Students can choose the fractions for the assessment from the clothing or you can differentiate by choosing different fractions for different students.
This activity contains:
- 13 pages of full color clothing labeled with fractions
- 13 pages of the same fractions on blackline clothing (Perfect for saving printer ink, these look great printed on fluorescent paper or printed on copy paper and colored by your students!)
- Answer key in full color
- Blackline answer key
- Recording sheet - half sheet of paper to save on copying
- Assessment half sheet of paper that students can use with or without the clothing, allowing for easy differentiation
