Product Description
This game includes 3 sets of dominoes students can use to practice finding equivalent fractions. The 3 sets have increasing difficulty, so this is perfect for helping you use differentiation in your math class!

CCSS Standards addressed by this activity include:
3.NF.A.3 - Explain equivalence of fractions in special cases, and compare fractions by reasoning about their size.
4.NF.A.1 - Explain why a fraction a/b is equivalent to a fraction (n x a) / (n x b) by using visual fraction models, with attention to how the number and size of the parts differ even though the two fractions themselves are the same size. Use this principle to recognize and generate equivalent fractions.
5.NF.B.5 - Interpret multiplication as scaling by...relating the principle of fraction equivalence a/b = (n × a)/(n × b) to the effect of multiplying a/b by 1.

These look great in color, but can also be printed in grayscale. They will hold up best if printed onto card stock or construction paper.

Equivalent Fractions Dominoes includes:
- Set A - all models, 7 pairs of equivalent fractions
- Set B - models and fractions mixed, 11pairs of equivalent fractions
- Set C - all fractions, 11 pairs of equivalent fractions
- Guide for the Teacher
- Game Instructions
- Blank Answer Sheet for each set
