This is a fun way for your students to practice equivalent fractions. Students choose any card to start on. They scan the QR code on the card using an I-Pad or other electronic device, then solve the problem on the card. Once they have the answer, they record it on the answer sheet. They will need to search the room for another card that has that answer on it. Once they find it they will then scan the QR code on that card to get the next problem. . It is so much better than a traditional worksheet. The students will have so much fun with the movement and technology that they won't even realize they are doing work! My students have been begging me to make more of these. They are actually excited to do the activity. The 16 cards correlate with 4.NF.1 from the fourth grade common core math objectives.
