My students had a really hard time understanding equivalent fractions. I created this activity hoping that it would help them be able to visualize what is required to make two fractions equivalent.
My students did extremely well with these task cards. I could see the lightbulbs go off! I personally had my students do these at a math center, but you could also use them as a scoot game, during small group, or as a review. The possibilities are truly endless.
Included in this set:
- 24 interactive task cards
- 2 recording sheet options
- Answer key
- Teacher directions
- Student guide for understanding equivalent fractions
I hope you and your students find this tool as helpful as my class and I did.
