This product includes two different ways to use: as a worksheet or as task cards!
Your students will have to identify equivalent fractions on a number line. Answer choices are given, but students will need to use what they know about finding equivalent fractions to correctly complete this assignment. This is not an easy task, especially for 3rd graders! I use this at the end of my fractions unit, once I'm sure they know how to find equivalent fractions. This is a great centers activity for 4th and 5th grade.
There are three pages of practice, with three number lines per page and 6-7 answers required for each number line.
These number lines are popping up all over the new standardized testing that many states are now using. This product is intended as a test-prep material to familiarize students with the types of number lines they can expect.
This product aligns to CCSS 3.NF.A.3a and 3.NF.A.2b.
