Students will pretend they just traveled on the Erie Canal and are sending a postcard to a friend or relative. Students will draw a map of the Erie Canal on the front and label significant physical features and cities. On the back of their postcard, students will write their letter to a friend/relative. I have included important questions they will answer in their letter, and easy-to-use websites to find the information. An answer key is included. Please message me if you have any questions.
