This is a study guide I created to go along with my Erosion, Weathering, Rocks, Minerals, Resources PowerPoint Review. Click here to check it out! www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Erosion-Weathering-Rocks-Minerals-Resources-Review-993736
Students follow along filling in the blanks as they hear the answers on the PowerPoint. The PowerPoint is a 27 slide PowerPoint I created to review erosion, weathering, rocks, minerals, renewable, and nonrenewable resources with my students. It has animations, sound effects, and photographs to help the students. I also included the characters "Breaker and SWOOSH"! If you have seen the short clip on Study Jams, you know who I am talking about! Breaker represents erosion and Swoosh represents weathering. Studyjams calls him WOOSH but it was confusing that he was erosion with a "W" on his costume so I added an "S" to his chest and named him Swoosh. If you haven't see the clip, check it out here: http://studyjams.scholastic.com/studyjams/jams/science/rocks-minerals-landforms/weathering-and-erosion.htm
You will also find that the PowerPoint has numerous links embedded to sites that assist in the learning. My students loved the landslide and mudslide videos!
