As in a traditional Escape Room, students are informed that they are "locked" in the room and must figure out how to get out. (obviously don't really lock them in, not a good idea) Students must use the set of 5 clues that lead to the next clue in order to complete challenges ranging from visual riddles to basic binary code, all while reading and following directions and clues in Spanish. In this packet you will get two separate sets of of 5 clues each. Use these individually for two different lessons or, as I do, Use them simultaneously for large classes so half the class is working on one and the other half are working on the other. Duration depends on how fast your students crack the codes but usually 30min-50min to complete. Use this as a Friday fun day at any level! You will need a deck of playing cards and an english/spanish dictionary for this activity. Also give about 10-15 prep time to hang signs and set clues.
