Caution - Zombies ahead! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Students will have a great time trying to escape from the Zombies.
This game will help students learn and practice basic addition and subtraction facts, odd and even numbers, and comparing numbers using greater than and less than. They will also review math vocabulary words such as sum and difference.
Once students are familiar with the directions, Escape from the Zombies is a perfect game to use at a math station or after independent math practice. This is great game to play around Halloween, however students love Zombies all year round!!

Summary of the game:
This game can be played in partners or small group.
Players take turns moving around the board by following the arrows. On each turn, the player must roll 2 dice. A player may only make a move if they roll the combination listed on the next space on the game board. Players may NOT skip spaces. If they do not roll the combination on the next space, they may NOT move and it is the next player’s turn.
There is one optional rule that students like to use in the game. I always let this up to the students if they want to include the rule during their game. Optional rule: If a player rolls a double (rolling a double means you ran into a Zombie), the player must move back one space. If they roll snake eyes (1 and 1), the player must move back to the Enter at your own risk space and start the game over.
Hope your students have fun playing Escape from the Zombies!
