WHAT'S INCLUDED:

7 Activities: This resource asks students to solve seven different mathematical activities that involve place value, addition, and subtraction.

1. Build the Path (Rounding Numbers) - This activity asks students to build a path from "Start" to "Finish" using dominoes. Students will need to round the number on the right-side of the domino to find the domino that should go next in the path.

2. Quizagram (Standard, Word, Expanded Form) - This activity asks students to solve eight problems about writing numbers in standard, word, and expanded form. Students will then use their answer to solve an additional problem.

3. Decode the Message (Place Value, Value, and Digit) - This activity asks students to find the digit, place value, and value of several underlined digits. Students will then take their answers and apply it to a cipher to find ONE of the codes that they need to escape the room.

4. Cut the Wire (Comparing Numbers) - This activity asks students to compare multiple sets of numbers to determine which "wires" need to be "cut" in order to escape the room.

5. Picking the Lock (Adding and Subtracting Numbers) - This activity asks students to find the missing numbers on the lock by solving addition and subtraction problems.

6. Pathway Passcode (Place Value, Value, and Digits) - This activity asks students to find the correct path on a "touchpad" screen by solving questions about place value, value, and digits.

7. Build the Key (Vocabulary) - This activity asks students to put together a key puzzle by using important vocabulary and their definitions related to place value, addition, and subtraction.
