Product Description
Dear Fellow Teacher,

Enhance your students' understanding of Pam Munoz Ryan's Esperanza Rising with this literature station/center activity for the chapter "Los Aguacates."

This station/center specifically focuses on having students making inferences about the Mexican experience in the United States at the time of this story.

This station/center provides students with a multiple-choice answer to a question asking them to make an inference about the Mexican experience in the United States.

Students then have to support the inference they chose with two pieces of text evidence from "Los Aguacates." Students will then explain how the text evidence supports the inference.

Perfect for differentiated station activities, student discourse within literature circles, and whole-class discussions, this activity is a creative, efficient and effective way for students to work on this crucial literary skill of making inferences.

Additionally, this station/center activity was carefully created in alignment with the Common Core ELA standards so rest assured that it is of the highest quality.

Thanks for considering this product and, more importantly, being a teacher.

Sincerely,

Chris Maynard
