AWEsome! I used it to end a lesson at which I was being observed for a formal eval and it was just about all the principal could talk about in post conference ("every student fully engaged"). It's not that it's so fancy, it isn't, but it absolutely engages every kid, even the most out of it kids, 100%! Don't use it until the end of the lesson though as it gets them so excited and worked up that anything else afterwards will disappoint. I sometimes use it as a reward.
It is based on Jeopardy and covers just the basics of body paragraphs: topic sentences, details, vocab, pre-writing even.
It is in a PowerPoint so can easily be changed if you don't like my word choice or want to make it higher level or whatever else you might want to change. You may not agree with all my 'answers' as I work with very low at-risk kids and do some oversimplification. This interactive game is easy to edit to fit your needs - including using it as a template to quickly make your own games on any topic!
The kids LOVED it and have made me make more 'games' - I use this one as my template and I can make a new game quickly.
