Middle/secondary students love sharing stories about things that drive them crazy.

This two-week essay lesson taps into that type of edgy story-telling by encouraging students to complain their little hearts out by sharing a few sometimes funny, sometimes shocking but always relatable snapshots of their favorite nails-on-a-chalkboard moments.

♥ Why you'll L-O-V-E it!

♥ Even reluctant writers enjoy the exercises leading up to the completion of the essay.

♥ Every student will be actively involved in the lesson.

♥ The stories students share are sometimes funny, outrageous, or unbelievable – but they’re always insightful.

♥ Two weeks of step-by-step plans and assessments make each lesson component easy to execute.
