Sanchez's Teaching Emporium
This document serves as a blueprint for teachers and students. What do students truly need to know by the end of the units on the Civil War, Reconstruction, and Westward Expansion? These questions will help teachers to create focused instruction, and will help students to master key concepts to better understand the scope of U.S. history.
Recommended Uses: Bell ringer, exit ticket, question of the day, review, or place questions on one card, answers on another and have students match them up.
I plan to add new questions for every major topic through the end of the Cold War.
Vocabulary Includes: Anaconda Plan, Reconstruction amendments, Jim Crow, Fugitive Slave Act, sharecropper, suffrage, Dawes Act, American Indian, transcontinental railroad, Homestead Act, land grant, bimetallism
