Product Description
In challenging students to think deeper and more critically, I have developed essential questions for each of my units taught in U.S. History. This set of essential questions challenges students to answer questions such as, why is it essential for the President and Congress to work together to settle disputes, what duties and responsibilities are expected of all citizens, and finally includes a series of opinion questions, forcing students to support their opinions with facts surrounding the U.S. Constitution.

I have had great luck with essential question sets - as part of units, assisting in my meeting ELA standards, within my social studies curriculum.
