Have students go on a shopping spree to find the cost of different items! You can use magazines, ads, etc. for students to browse and select their products. After finding the product, have students cut and paste the picture on their Shopping Spree packet. If using computers, students can print the pictures and then cut them out to paste on the packet. Students must then list the actual price and practice rounding to the nearest dollar amount for the estimated price. At the end, students will add up their total actual price and total estimated price.
