Students will have the opportunity to use estimating, adding, and multiplication skills in this "real world task."
Grab a stack of flyers from your local grocery store (as soon as I tell them they are for school, the response is "we always throw out these extra ones anyhow!) or use an online flyer to have the students make a grocery list in preparation to host a dinner party for themselves and three friends. They are provided a budget and have the opportunity to practice the skills listed.
