Students can practice estimating differences of two-digit and three-digit numbers by rounding numbers to the nearest ten or hundred before subtracting.
Students will cut out each puzzle piece and match them according to the rounded version of the number sentence as directed. After cutting and pairing the coordinating number sentences, students can glue them into their math journal and then solve for the estimated difference!
Included are two different sets: one using two-digit numbers rounded to the nearest 10 and the other using three-digit numbers rounded to the nearest 100.
