Estimating PowerPoint is a fully-automated slideshow (just one-click) that gives your students numerous opportunities to estimate. Students begin by viewing a slide of 13 stars for three seconds and then estimate how many they saw. The solution follows, as all thirteen stars exit the screen one at a time (so that students can count to verify the answer).
The estimation ranges from 5 to 39, with images of stars, pumpkins, bones, water drops, eyes, ice cubes, light bulbs, bicycles, airplanes, rainbows, insects, spiders, worms, snails, lizards pencils, birds, suns, flowers, penguins, cats, watches, lady bugs, books, backpacks, hats, and a variety of balls.
