Product Description
Chances are that your international students are sometimes mystified by what we consider to be good or poor manners, and you’ve likely inadvertently done something they would consider rude. Learning what constitutes etiquette and manners in different cultures is especially important when you have a diverse class to avoid misunderstandings. These topic cards are meant to not only engage your students and get them talking, but also to make them think and to reflect.

Find out what they think and encourage them to use varied expressions for sharing and asking for opinions as well as agreeing and disagreeing. (You may be interested in my Expressions for Opinions resource to ensure that your ESL students can use a good variety of expressions.)

Whether you are teaching a unit on etiquette/manners or just need a relatable discussion topic, you’ll be glad to have these topic cards.

Included:
✔ 1 page of teacher suggestions
✔ 17 pages of topic cards (total of 68 cards)
✔ 1 page of set covers

***PLEASE NOTE***
Some of these cards may not be suituable for all students. Please review them carefully and set aside any that you deem inappropriate for the particular group of students that you have.

How to get TPT credit to use on future purchases:
• Please go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login). Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button. I greatly appreciate and treasure your feedback as it helps me determine which resources are the most valuable for your classroom so I can create more for you. ☺
Although no TpT credit is given for feedback on freebies, it’s certainly an incentive to create and provide more freebies!
