It's the professional goofball that students (and teachers) love to hate...Philippe Katerine! He's here to help students learn the forms of être in the present tense and review numbers/telling time.
I use this inductive activity to introduce être for the first time to my students, and let me tell you...it gets their attention! With this inductive listening activity, students will watch the YouTube video I made specifically for them (link included in download) and copy down the present tense forms of être while also listening for the times that are mentioned (lots of good practice here!).
For a fun twist, I usually tell my students that if we are able to correctly fill in the sheet together after listening, I won't make them listen to it again...this song is so intensely obnoxious, that they are usually really motivated to tune in! A fun activity that my level one students talk about all year!
