This product is a bulletin board for classroom jobs, only there is a Catholic identity twist! Want a way to create a sense of love for ministry in your students? These classroom “ministries” are intended to replace the traditional jobs in the Catholic school classroom.
A wonderful teacher in my religious education classes, Sister Diane Schlueter, gave me the wonderful idea of incorporating Catholic identity into classroom jobs by making students in charge of various ministries within the classroom. I created this bulletin board set for my own classroom and I am now sharing it with you! Just print, laminate, and use a dry erase marker to assign ministries.
Remind your students that Eucharist means “thanksgiving” and the ministries they are called to complete on a weekly basis are meant to be completed as an offering to God in thanksgiving for the gifts that He has given us. Students can be reminded at the end of the week that they can offer the work that they did all week when they go to Mass.
The various ministries are offered as follows: Minister to the Teacher, Minister of Deliverance (hands out papers), Minister of Door & Lights, Minister of the Board, Minister of the Calendar, Minister of Communication (messenger), Minister of Homework, Minister of the Line, Minister of the Library, Minister of Prayer, Minister of the Chairs, Minister to the Pet, Minister of Rccycling, Minister of Weather, Minister of Cleanliness, and Minister of Technology.
If there is a particular “ministry” that you would like to have, I would be happy to make it as part of your purchase. Thank you very much for your purchase, and I hope you enjoy using this product in your classroom!
God bless, Jami AuBuchon
