As a culmination of the study of European Exploration (SS4H2-The Discovery of North America), the student will choose one European explorer and create an Animoto presentation. This rubric assesses the detailed standard. Rubrics present a clear-cut form of assessment that provides the teacher with a guide to what the child has mastered versus what still needs to be taught & learned.
The rubric should be presented to the student before, during and after instruction, so that the expectations are clear.

b. Describe examples of cooperation and conflict between Europeans and Native Americans.
