Tired of all that extra time it takes to create meaningful extension activities? Looking for an exciting way to encourage independent learning? As teachers we don’t always have the time to give each historical topic the attention it deserves, but with my European History Research Packet, students get to pick between a wide variety of engaging topics.
Use this series in social studies, language arts; even art or science! Each worksheet includes Learning Targets and Success Criteria. After students complete the worksheets, they will be able to choose between five different research topics. This packet comes with a student-friendly rubric that takes the guessing out of assessing research essays. Students can research the information from a social studies textbook, the library, or the internet.
Worksheets include: Joan of Arc, William Shakespeare, Leonardo da Vinci, Johannes Gutenberg, and Queen Elizabeth I.
